Meyer Curve was formed in the winter of 2002 in Stafford, comprising the original members of Sam Houghton, Geoff Swan and Martin Webb. Soon after Owen Davies was recruited as guitarist and more recently Mithun Shah on drums. Drawing on influences as diverse as Pantera and Killswitch engage to Glass Jaw, Boy sets fire and AFI Meyer Curve’s sound fuses pure brutality with melancholy melodies and a true sense of harmony. In the autumn of 2003 the band recorded a three track E.P including the savage title track “Truth in hollow words,” “Breathe You in,” and “Probability of loss,” the band called in the aid of producer John Webb who worked extensively with them to bring out the best performances and create their debut release. Truth in hollow words is available free of charge at all Meyer Curve shows. 2004 expects to see a heavy campaign of touring for the band across the country as well as further recordings and a barrage of new material.
