Mexican clarinetist, arranger and breath instrument mechanic. Bernardo López García was born in Santo Tomás, Guanajuato, in September 1962 and arrived at the Port of Veracruz, years later, to join the Marine Band as clarinetist. There he was heard by the founder of the group "Los Pregoneros del Recuerdo", Carlos Pitalúa, and invited him to be part of that legendary group. In 2001 the musical direction of the danzonera “Alma de Sotavento” was proposed to him and since then he took charge of that work. He passed away on April 13, 2014
