Асеновградската Народна Група

The Assenovgrad Folk Group is a Bulgarian orchestra founded in 1965 by the brothers and accordionists Dimitar Angelov (Димитър Ангелов) and Angel Angelov (Ангел Ангелов (4)). The orchestra made its first recordings in 1966 for Radio Plovdiv and four years later their performances were heard for the first time on the Bulgarian Radio as well. The Assenovgrad Folk Group has worked as an orchestra for the "Izgrev" dance ensemble at the Trade Union Club in Assenovgrad.
