Nee-Hi

From Suffolk, UK Dubbed “The Fresh Prince of Ipswich” for his energetic, old-school style, producing music ranging from Hip-Hop and Grime to Electro, mingling genres and creating experimental tracks. From age 11-12 he was active in grime sets and cipher. At age 14, Nee-hi became part of Ipswich's ‘Ear to the Street’ crew; working collectively to record and put out a mix tape and a DVD which featured ‘Roll Deep’. As his music began to progress, Nee-hi brought out an independent mix tape called ‘The Story Book’. This idea derived from the Slick Rick (his Uncle) album, ‘The Art of Storytelling’ Largely influenced by groups such as: The Natives Tongues Posse, Rakim and Krs-One.
