A female folk duo by Rieko Matsuo and Ayaka Yamazaki (2) from Fukuoka Prefecture. After participating in the 1972全国フォーク音楽祭全国大会 (1972 Vitalis Folk Festival) under the name of "ピコ", they changed their name to "Popcorn" and made their debut. The following year, in 1974, the group name was changed back to ピコ.
