July 6, 1930 ~ June 6, 2020 (age 89) Born in Mabou, Janet was a great piano & organ player, who played at dances, churches, and made recordings with Joe MacLean and Joe Peter MacLean. She was the driving force of the Boisdale Trio with Joe Peter MacLean, Paul Joseph Wukitsch, and in the later years her brother Father Francis. The Cameron house, in Boisdale, was always a Ceilidh house and Janet continued that tradition. Many well-known musicians tuned their fiddles or guitars and tickled the ivories in that house. Many songs were sung there.
