Positive Feedback Loop

Australian band, based in Canberra, active from 2012. Positive Feedback Loop are a Canberra band that have played live since 2012, including high energy, stand out performances at the Psyland, MuMu, Regrowth, Dragon Dreaming and Canberra Fringe festivals as well as Canberra venues like the Pot Belly, Smith's Alternative, the White Eagle Polish Club, the Front Bar, the Basement, PJ O'Reilly's Tuggeranong, Transit Bar (when that was still at thing), and The Phoenix, when that was still a thing. They've also gone further afield and played the Marrickville Bowlo [NSW] and the Retreat in Brunswick [Melbourne, Victoria]. The Loop’s current line-up is: Simon Ferguson, Andrew Hood, Dean James (bass) and Satish Rajah (drums). Other members over the years have included Amanda Dennett (drums, vocals, made up the band name), Adam Bowler (drums), Thomas Carruthers (bass), Bren Ryan (guitar, vocals) and George Aristotleous (bass). Their 2015 debut EP Beautiful Things is a high-quality recording featuring singer Simon Ferguson, bassist and backing vocalist Michael [Patrick] Monaghan, guitarist and backing vocalist Andrew Hood and drummer/singer David Burke.
