Quincy Milliam (born October 9th) Professionally known as Scion919, is a musical artist, songwriter, beatmaker, music producer, photographer, media journalist, clothing designer, scriptwriter, disc jockey, hip hop blogger, and owner of shut down season radio (SDS radio) and scion919.com Born in Brownsville located in Brooklyn in New York City but later moved to Raleigh NC. He embarked on his music career in a short-lived group (Ravenz Guild) with his brother and best friend Dominic after the group disbanded in 1999, Scion919 began to pursue a solo music career. Nominated twice for lyricist of the year at the North Carolina Underground Music Awards in 2010 and 2011 Although Scion919 is a solo artist and has over 100 songs of his own, he is also a member of the hip hop group, Team Collective aka Team Shutdown. Two time North Carolina Music award winners for best group in 2013 and 2014, The same year Scion919 created Piffy Life Entertainment, an artist development, marketing and promotion company based in Raleigh NC. The mission of the company is to empower artists to learn the music business and take control of their own careers. Feb 2nd, 2015 Scion919 put together a modeling network called the money management team. Which was designed to help models get booked, Our function is to facilitate models to artists, magazines, and photographers for their professional needs. Later that year Team Collective released Shutdown season vol.1 which featured Scion919, Rah -1, Flowz Infinite, Keith Shariff, z In 2016 Scion919 dropped the full length” PiffyLife Project''. which featured Piff Pacino, April Everyday, Lizzie Yayo, and Chenee The Songbird Johnson. In 2017 Scion919 hosted Flowz Infinite’s project “Flight Control”. In 2018 Scion919 released “I deserve this” a full feature-length project. Scion919’s eighth solo release. In 2019 Team Collective dropped their single Vibe Out and followed up with the remix in 2020 which is set to be released mid-2020. January 2020 scion919.com was launched as well Scion919s production company, under the alias name SoniQ the beatmaker, Who specializes in custom beats. The same year Scion919 launched shutdown season radio in February of 2020. An online radio station that focuses on empowering the indie artist, by creating outlets to get the artist exposure and the resources That they will need to succeed in this business.
