Mouss (9)

Guitarist Aurélien “Mouss” Garrin lives and works in his hometown of Poitiers in the western part of France. He has studied classical guitar, American folk music and Indian and North African modal musics. After many rock band experiences, he discovered the music of John Fahey and the “American primitivism” musicians. He started immersing himself in this musical trend and began picking up the lap steel guitar. Since then, he has been composing solo instrumental works mainly inspired by American and British folk music, classical and modal musics.
