Rich Dart

Rich Dart is a world renowned percussionist. Best known as the touring drummer for the Monkees and Micky Dolenz as a solo artist, he has also been a member of the bands, The Maggies, Creamed Corn, The Shellye Valauskas Experience, Rosie Flores, Greg Piccolo & Heavy Juice and the Zambonis. He performs regularly with these and other groups including various symphonies and theater productions. He is also a member of the DeQauttro/Dart Percussion duo with fellow percussionist, Anthony DeQuattro. He is an endorser for Vater Drumsticks, Sabian Cymbals and Humes and Berg Cases. He has appeared on numerous recordings and film and tv soundtracks. He also has performed in various pit orchestras on Broadway and toured with a National Tour of Pippin as well as The First National Tour of Avenue Q. He received critical praise for his work on a Yale Reperatory Theater production of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. He has been called "A remarkable percussionist" by the New York Times.
