Adrien Losco

Born in Nice, France, in 1993, Adrien Losco studied classical music from an early age (playing cello, studying harmony) before to integrate professionnaly the French Riviera’s jazz scene from the age of 16, on bass and saxophone. He moved to Amsterdam in 2013 to expend his musical horizons and entered the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, within wich he got to learn with musicians such as Ben van Gelder, Jasper Blom, Simon Rigter or Joris Roelofs, and from wich he graduated in 2017 from a double bachelor in jazz saxophone and electric bass and in 2019 from a Master degree in jazz saxophone He obtained the “Best Soloist Price” from the “Keep An Eye International Jazz Competition” in 2019 in Amsterdam. Meeting Jimmy Halperin in 2019 (one of the heaviest “Tristano follower” that has ever been), they started collaborating on writing a book about Lennie Tristano’s conceptions and practices. He released his first album as a leader “Adrien Losco Quartet : Réflexions” in september 2019 under the parisian label “Jazz Family”.
