From 1985 to 1993 Tim and Danny Carter along with drummer "Stormin'" Norman Allred, bassist Mark Vernon and rhythm guitarist/vocalist Johnny Green toured together as the Carter Brothers Band. Averaging around 225 shows a year they traveled from North Carolina to New York City, from Western Canada to Key West, Florida and points between as well as Europe. Although they disbanded in 1993 they remain very close friends and still get together a few times a year to play shows locally in North Carolina.
