Joël MC

French Old School Rapper and MC from Saint-Ouen in the Paris region, in 1988 he was with MC Doudou the first two members of the group "Timide et Sans Complexe" before the arrival a few years later of some new members. During this period of the Hip-Hop Golden Era between 1988 to 1990 he made some appearance on Radio Nova in the show "Deenastyle", being one of the most talented MC of his generation with other rappers like (Iron 2, Shooz, Little MC, Saliha, New Generation MC's or EJM) especially with their freestyles of anthology. He was among the french precursor in the mastery of the "Turnstyle" this particular rap style consisting of rapping "On beat / Off beat" on fast instrumental version during the radio show freestyle like some US rappers of the same period who were masters in this style such as Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Kool Keith or Kool G Rap. He was also one of the first MC of that time who participated in a short film called "Furie Rock" realized in 1988 where he plays the role of Tony a young rapper who tries to integrate a gang of Skinhead Hunters from Paris the "Asnays", we can also see him rapping and doing the Human Beatbox quickly during this short movie and in the ending sound track with the title "Pourquoi Tant De Haine".
