The Rhythmaires (13)

The Rhythmaires were formed with Eddie Seals and Joe Sones (Grant) on board while they were still in high school. The Rhythmaires would cut three 78's on their own financed label (Central). It's not likely more than a few copies would have made their way out of the school and local shows, so they are quite rare. This would serve as a template for Eddie's joining the Imperial Quartet the following year of 1954. Central 501, 502 featured Eddie Seals, Gene Greenwood, Sonny Kirklen, and Don Walker. Central 503 replace Gene with Joe Sones, later known as Joe Grant and a big part of the subsequent story.
