Swing Al Dente

Swedish jazz band started by band members Carl Alberto Bettini and Måns Persson in the autumn of 2007. Måns had spent six years in Italy where he had come into contact with and been strongly touched by Django Reinhardt's music. Once back home in Malmö, he fortunately collided with Carl Alberto and musical love arose immediately. Their mutual love and respect for Django gave them the idea for the band and they began to sketch on a basis for what would become Swing al Dente. After a period of planning at Carl Alberto's kitchen table, the two guitarists contacted Mats Ingvarsson, a formidable bassist from Malmö who has worked with several great artists, and Filip Runesson, an extraordinary violin virtous with fantastic tone and tone language, and asked about their interest. After the first rehearsal there was no doubt - Swing al Dente was formed!
