Born in Boston MA, May 10, 2005 and now based in Charlotte, NC, Elijah Germain Vick is the eldest of 6 siblings. Born to a Haitian father and African American Mother, Elijah took rich and diverse influences from his upbringing. Recording his first work under the moniker, Lij, listeners in the studio knew they had heard something special. What ever it is, that elusive ability to craft music, to connect with audience, to entrance a listener; Lij has it. Single ‘Feel it’ was met with critical acclaim – there’s a classic feel to the best, echoes of golden era hip hop, laid back vibes and soul inspired loops.
