Sid Omasta

Sid Omesta (1950-2015) came to Central Ohio in the mid-80's, beginning his career as a luthier at the Loft Violin Shop, a career which he continued to the end. He developed quite a reputation in the repair and restoration of basses and cellos. He was a versatile musician, playing many styles (jazz, ethnic/celtic, classical, to name a few).
