Known as Bella or Arabella, Latham is an alt-pop singer-songwriter from Durban, South Africa. Before signing to Polydor in early 2020, and Sony Music Publishing UK in late 2022, Latham was living out of a houseboat in London, UK and working at a Rough Trade record store. She was mentored by Courtney Love, and describes herself as a "pop anti-hero" influenced by [a1124645], [a47333] and [a2037884] among others. Latham began writing music as Baby Queen in 2017, inspired by the "the whirlwind life of Instagram influencers and fashion parties" of London.
