Joe Wright Jr.

Joe Wright, Jr. is a Chicago-based producer/engineer, songwriter, singer, percussionist, voice-over talent, playwright, and music educator. His primary genre is Gospel but has worked in Latin, Pop, Jazz, and other styles. He’s had songs he’s co-written recorded by Pops Staples, Eugene Record, and many others. He is the CEO of Blapop Records, which stands for Black Latin Asian Pop. His studio is JoRon 2000. He is co-chair of SAG-AFTRA’s Singer Committee in Chicago and also serves on their audiobooks committee. He currently serves with the Chicago Singers Collective for education outreach.
