ShadyZane

ShadyZane, aka Chris White, builds his palette primarily from acoustic sources, fusing these sounds with contemporary textures and grooves. The resulting electro-acoustic audio canvases illustrate musical influences born out of a dark jazz tip, and a studied knowledge of the classical tradition. Chris was born in 1974, living for the first part of his life in New Zealand. After winning a national music award for a jazz album co-recorded with New York colleague Aaron Nevezie in 1998 (Chris is also an accomplished saxophonist), Chris moved base to London where he finds himself now.
