After studying "Audiovisual Media Design" at the Art University Linz, I founded LAS GAFAS FILMS with Luzi Katamay and have been producing films (advertising, commercials, music videos ...) since 2011. The two filmmakers Christian Dietl and Luzi Katamay have specialized in the implementation of unusual ideas with their production company Las Gafas Films. They benefit from a trend. Companies in Upper Austria are more and more confident and rely on daring and bold advertising clips.Hundreds of panes of glass twirl, glittering in the air, and a young woman slowly floats through the picture. Her auburn hair blows in the wind, her limbs twist like a slow dance. The scene shows a fictional car accident, which is almost aesthetically pleasing due to the slow-motion setting and being played backwards. The clip is part of a music video that Las Gafas produced for the Austrian band A. G. Trio. The two filmmakers became known through such clips, and meanwhile they also produce advertising and image films, reports and documentaries.
