Dödskvartetten

Punk Af Trollhättan. When DödsKvartetten, the idea, came about, was in the beginning of 2020. It was when Janne & Rod what battling with another project including backing tracks. With that came a lot of technical difficulties. When Janne said to Rod with a slight sigh, "...I just want to plug in and fcking play." So, why not? A few weeks went by, thinking about potential bandmembers to this new "plug-in-and-fcking-play-band". When Janne remember having a conversation with Näven, one year prior to this idea. So, Janne got in touch with Näven, explained the idea, and he was onboard. We had a few rehearsals with this lineup: Janne - Bass / Rod - Guitar / Näven - Drums / Still with no vocalist. Of course, the name, or rather nickname, came up...JJ. Without a shadow of doubt, Näven gave him a call. And JJ said "I´m in. Now let´s hear about this band idea..?" So he was more or less in, before hearing about our idea! That shows his character, "Let´s fcking do this!". The later small issue came up, we needed another guitarist. So it was pretty quickly decided that JJ does vocals and bass. Janne took the role of lead-guitarist. The final lineup is: JJ - Bass & Vocals / Janne - Guitar / Näven - Drums / Rod - Guitar Upon this excellent lineup, we needed a song, just to get something out there. Just to show that we exist. We recorded 2 songs. "Anarkist 87" & "Härskaren Från Helvetet", and went with the latter. "Härskaren Från Helvetet" (Ruler From Hell), was published on all platforms, and was received with open arms. The song got great reviews from various people and we knew that we´ve got something good going here. And that is where we are today, in December 2020. We are writing a lot of new material and rehearsing when we can. We are also talking about a 7" vinyl-single...but we´ll see. Something in any physical format will be made. /DödsKvartetten.
