Goldy Malavsky

American singer and cantor. Oldest daughter of cantor [a1236800] and sister of Gittele Malavsky, whom she sang with in a duo. Also sang with her father's family band The Malavsky [a4127091] as well as with her sisters Minnie Malavsky, Ruth Malavsky, and Gittele in the Four Chazentes.. Considered one of the most significant cantorial performers of the post-Holocaust period. Born 1923 Died 1995.
