TZMP (The Zuckakis Mondeyano Project) is a long standing art project from Iceland-born Árni Kristjánsson and alien Steinn Linnet. Born from homework for an English course at Reykjavik’s MH college in 2000, they quickly gained notoriety by winning Óðríkur Algaula song competition and subsequent performances around Reykjavik. Burdened by their sudden popularity, the duo quickly got to work on new material and recorded their first album “The Album” in Honiton in the southwest of England. After their debut's release in 2004, the duo's performances at music festival Iceland Airwaves with singer Jenny Kamikaze (nee Berglind Prunner) gained them a small but loyal following. Their second album, “Anthology: Simply The Best” was released in 2016, followed by release parties in Iceland and Japan (where they performed with chiptune legends YMCK).
