Friendly Womack, Sr.

Not to be confused with his son Friendly Womack, Jr. (sometimes credited as Friendly Womack II). As a Pastor, he sang and played guitar in a gospel group. He was the Father of Bobby Womack, Harry Womack (Harris), [a302525], Friendly Womack, Jr. and Curtis Womack. He encouraged his sons to pursue music and helped them to form the gospel quintet The Womack Brothers, prior to moving to secular R&B music and becoming the [a315538].
