Michael Carlos Jones, aka "Lo", is a Billboard Award-winning pop, R&B, and rap songwriter from Atlanta, Ga. Lo has penned smash hits for superstar artists such as Diddy, Trey Songz, J-lo, Usher, Mario Winans, New Edition, and Cassie - just to name a few. Lo first established himself as a hit songwriting powerhouse in 2001, when he wrote the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping hits "Can't Believe"(Carl Thomas & Faith Evans,), "I Need a Girl Pt. 1"(P. Diddy, feat. Usher and Loon), and "I Need a Girl Pt. 2" (P. Diddy, feat. Ginuwine, Mario Winans & Loon). In 2004, Lo penned the tremendous hit “I Don't Wanna Know" (Mario Winans, feat P. Diddy). These songs, still true classics in contemporary R&B, catapulted him into being an in-demand and much sought-after songwriter. He went on to write popular songs for Danity Kane, Day 26, 3LW, 702, and more. Lo has garnered innumerable prestigious awards, including 14 ASCAP Awards and a BMI Billboard Award for his Number 1 hit "Can't Be Friends" (Trey Songz) in 2011, which was Number 1 for 14 weeks on R&B/ Hip Hop charts.
