Chiffons (4)

American group from Louisiana, led by saxophonist Don Gautreaux. The band had performed earlier under different names (including The El-Derocks), and in the 1960s they changed their name to "Chiffons" after a private club in Chalmette, Louisiana, named "Chiffon Room". The original band was disbanded in the 1970s, but Gautreaux picked up the name again in the 1980s, and recorded "Saint James Infirmary" and "When My Dreamboat Comes Home."
