Laurie Marks (2)

Singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist and writer, now based in Los Angeles, California. She has previously been active in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Austin, Texas. Marks fronted the Austin, Texas-based hard rock/heavy metal band Wicked Gypsy in the early 1990s and by the late 1990s had launched a solo career, releasing the album Selfish in 1997. She currently goes by Laurie Markvart.
