Об исполнителе:
Robert (Bob) Hoehn was the Co-Founder and Corps Director of the Spirit Of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps from Atlanta, GA, starting 1976. He was also a volunteer for many groups, including the Atlanta Opera, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and several high school marching bands and drama clubs. Later in Spirit’s long history, Bob assisted during the difficult mid-1990s, helping the corps secure a sponsorship from Peachtree City, enabling the corps to return from near demise after not competing in 1994. He intervened and helped again in the early 2000s when the corps transitioned into Spirit of JSU, offering his extensive wisdom and credibility. Bob was also associated with the Chicago Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps of Rosemont, IL, where he excelled as a marching member, winning championships including the undefeated 1961 season. He was a three-time baritone bugle solo national champion. More importantly to him, he was a volunteer with the corps for ten years. Robert passed away September 27, 2007 at the age of 66.
