Fortycentfix

Born in the outskirts of Ottawa in late 1999, Fortycentfix began as a high school recording project between two friends and an attic. It was not until late 2002 that the full band was formed and played their first show at a small Ottawa venue called Bumpers. The band would play hundreds of shows around Ontario and Eastern Canada until its demise in 2007, after releasing two records, Everything In Between (2004) and Burn this Palace (2006). Guitarist James Nicol would later join Amos The Transparent, while John Meloche would go on to join in This Is A Standoff and The Fullblast, and have short touring stints with Carpenter and Daggermouth.
