Michael Knowles

Michael Knowles is an English actor and scriptwriter. He is best known for his roles in BBC sitcoms written by [a886416] and Jimmy Perry including Dad's Army, It Ain't Half Hot, Mum and You Rang, M'Lord?. With [a1317115], he adapted 67 episodes of Dad's Army for the radio as well as its sequel It Sticks Out Half a Mile. He also wrote four episodes of Are You Being Served? as well as guest starring in two episodes. Born: 26th April 1937, Spondon, Derbyshire, England.
