David Earl Lewis

Rock and country singer, songwriter, and guitarist, born in Texas City, Texas. Lewis grew up in Monahans, Texas, and moved to Tarzana, California in 1971. His first record was released as Dave Lewis, a single "The Loneliest Cowboy" (1975). His first album, "" (as David Lewis) was released in 1976 by Tiger Lily Records. His second album, "Hold on to the Dream" was released as David Earl Lewis, as has been his subsequent albums. He has worked with Roy Howell and John David Souther, and was the stage manager for John Stewart (2) and Chris Whelen. He also attended Sound Masters School of Audio Engineering, and worked at ABC Recording Studios in Beverly Hills.
