Durga Jasraj

Indian media content producer and promoter, former model, TV host and classical musician, born 12 September 1966 in Mumbai. She is the daughter of the renowned Indian classical vocalist [a561095]. Durga started her career as a classical vocalist at age seven and accompanied her father on tambura. She started acting in 1993, which led to her role as TV co-host which made her popular. She co-founded the Indian Music Academy (IMA) in 2006 with her father as a chief patron.
