Puritan Guitars
Настоящее имя: Puritan Guitars
Об исполнителе:
The Puritan Guitars were from Cardiff, Wales and they had their only single on their own label, Riverside Records. '2019603' was widely misunderstood that they were singing about their manufacturing costs. In fact the song is about a party that the band attended, held by Rough Trade Records when a £100's worth of drink was consumed in fifteen minutes. Singer/guitarist John Williams started out writing a fanzine called After Hours, and after the Puritans broke up he joined the ex-The Janet And Johns to do two mid-80s singles as Thomas the Voice. He’s now an increasingly celebrated author, and two of his novels deal with the DIY scenes in London (Faithless), and Cardiff (Cardiff Dead).
