Born: November 24, 1914 Died: January 22, 2021 Fiddler player from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada. Herb's father taught him to play the violin at age 14. He would later perform and tour with the Maple Creek Old Tyme Fiddlers and was their last surviving member. At the age of 80, he began to make violins. Herb was awarded the Saskatchewan Centenarian Award at the age of 101, receiving recognition for his ongoing volunteerism.
