David Sanchez (25)

Born in Madrid, Spain. He moved to the US in the early 80's. He went to VCU in Richmond, VA where he began his work in visual and sound art. He started a gallery/co-op there called the Citizen Gallery. He moved to San Francisco in 1999 and began his teaching career soon after. He has worked at the San Francisco Art Institute, and has taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, University of Maryland, University College, and New Mexico Highlands University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Sculpture and Expanded Media at Lake Forest College in Illinois.
