Better Off Dead Was formed in the fall of 1999 by Vocalist Steve Thiriot, Guitarist Chris Whitney, Then Bassist Chris Martie, and Turntablist Van Phetsomephou. Four Years, One Computer, One Drummer, and Two Bassists later, Better Off Dead continue to do what they do best...Rock! Better Off Dead Replaced Drummer Johnny Lazootin with new Drummer Johnny (NUMONIC) Ault in August of 2003. The Dead have played all around Las Vegas at many venues including The Cheyenne Saloon, The Hard Rock Cafe, The Beach, The Junkyard and in Salt Lake City at The Urban Lounge. Better Off Dead have released 2 1/2 CDs. Buck Norm was released in 2000, Special Edition was released in 2003. B.O.D. Recorded "Machine" for the darksoul7.com compilation CD and Decided to release From The Ashes with seven previous songs featured on Special Edition and adding "Machine" to sweeten the deal. Better Off Dead are currently in the process of writing new material for they're third CD Seasons Of Change. Doing all ground work from the bottom Better Off Dead is still in pursuit of the all so famous record deal.
