Erik Dahlbäck

Swedish drummer/percussionist that also plays piano, called Kapten, born in 1944 in Södertälje. He was a member of the Gårunt show 1965–1970 and has played with pianist Per Henrik Wallin, trumpeter Rolf Ericson and bassist Red Mitchell, among others. Dahlbäck was a founding member of Fläsket Brinner in 1970, left the band after their second album but returned in 1980. Erik Dahlbäck is the brother of comedian [a1667689] and the son of accordionist Allan Dahlbäck. He has three musically active children, namely producer and musician Andreas Dahlbäck, house disc jockey John Dahlbäck and singer-songwriter Erika Gellermark, and two daughters active in media, Jenny Grewdahl and Anna Dahlbäck.
