Minus - Collettivo d'improvvisazione

Minus is a Bologna-based collective engaged in the search for new languages for improvisation. The group began its research in 2017 with the aim of working on new improvisational methods oriented to the community construction of a musical direction, rediscovering the pleasure of listening to each other and playing together. The name Minus expresses the musical philosophy of the group: playing less to give each other space, identity and community. The collective currently has 8 effective members, but is often open to collaborations with external musicians, coming from the most diverse musical experiences. Influenced by the electroacoustic language, the members of the collective experiment in ever-changing formations the construction of elastic forms, through prefixed structures or more complex systems of relationships between the musicians.
