Master drummer and dancer from Ghana. In the 1960's Badu lead the National Dance Ensemble of Ghana, touring several continents performing both African music and dance. Kwasi Badu designed and constructed musical instruments and sewed traditional African clothing for the troupe. From 1968-74 he taught African music at UCLA. Died November 21st 1995.
