Leningrad - Saint Petersburg The group was not only one of the first real, professional rock bands in the Soviet Union, but also its undoubted star. From 1980 to 1989, the Forward group actively toured the country, invariably collecting packed stadiums and sports palaces. In 1984 they were known as the Форум, in 1985-1987 - as Старт.
