The back of the jacket contained the following writeup: "Bob Roberts, the Henny Youngman of the percussion set, blows drums the way most drummers think they do. He's the only cat with whom I've worked that keeps the beat so well that the rest of the rhythm section can relax and just blow. His breaks and solos are as much fun to watch as to hear, and he can deliver a one-liner better than Milton. (Not Berle--Milton Suggs)."
