Bill Hansson (2)

Swedish folk musician and folk music song writer, born 1934, dead 2004. He was, like his father Ture Hansson (1894 - 1947), a tailor of the old tribe, and they advanced to become foremen at the clothing factory in Uddevalla. Bill became a "Riksspelman" on the violin in 1974. He was characterized in both professional practice and playing of accuracy, sense of style and finesse. For the last four years of his life, Bill was a central figure in the folk music group "Bill och hans vänner". After his death, the group has been reconstructed and is now called "PlankTon (27)".
