Ferdinand Illmaier

Ferdinand Illmaier (born: August 7th, 1958 St. Pölten) is an Austrian musician and composer. Since 1976 he has performed together with his mother and brother as a folk alpine music ensemble. In a short time he learned to play the accordion and guitar, autodidactically to play the Styrian button harmonica. He has been a professional musician since 1982. He's the brother of Ernst Illmaier.
