Julee Dennis

Vocalist who grew up in Orange County and Nebraska. Dennis began her career as vocalist for a heavy metal band in 1980. She later joined a five-woman band called Tom Boy, which by 1987 had evolved into a band called The Skirtz. Dennis and the group moved to Orange County, California, where they played in the bar scene. After a return to Nebraska in late 1988, Dennis and bandmate Stacy Tyner returned to California in 1989 and formed rock band Denim & Lace with other former members of The Skirtz.
