Johan Ramström (3)

Swedish composer, born January 19, 1965 in Strängnäs. He has studied composition for Anders Nilsson at Birkagården's Folk High School in Stockholm and for Jan Sandström at the Academy of Music in Piteå. He has been a university lecturer in composition at the same university since 2008. Johan Ramström's chamber music works include Madonna della misericordia for clarinet and string quartet (2004) and the string quartet Acta Lapponica (2007/2008). He has also written orchestral music, electroacoustic music and film music, as well as created his own short films.
