J. Carl Hancuff

Barbershop bass vocalist. Bass of the Salt Flats barbershop quartet. Fondly remembered for his toothless “Old Joe” routine. Emceed on several barbershop shows over the years. Aside from singing and emceeing, he worked for the yellow pages for many years and was a comedian wherever he went. In 2009, he was awarded the Dave LeBar Master Of Ceremonies Award. Born on April 23, 1930 and died on January 17, 2023 at the age of 92.
