Carl Raven (2)

Drummer, bass guitarist, accordionist, saxophonist, pianist, arranger and composer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Raven passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 79. Raven played bass with The Robbs. He focused on percussion from the 1990s, working as a freelance drummer with jazz groups and leading his own jazz combos, the Hi Lites, Del Reys, and The Carl Raven Jazz Collective. He also played with freeform improvisational jazz groups Collective Neurosis and Once Now Ensemble.
