Groupe Oyiwane

The group Oyiwane was formed in 1985, made up of students from the primary school of Toudou in Agadez, Niger. After participating in some national events, the group became known throughout Niger. Mixing traditional percussion, Tuareg guitar, and folk songs, Oyiwane addresses the populations of their region, tackling development, education, and modern nomadic life.
