Joseph Hutchinson

American musician (Terre Haute, Vigo County, Tennessee, 1931; Sept. 1, 1985, Chicago), piano & guitar player since 1947, composed gospel and pop songs, wrote commercials and sang with The Wings of Heaven gospel quartet. Taught three of his daughters (Jeannette, Wanda, Sheila) to sing, forming a family gospel group The Hutchinson Sunbeams which in late 60s evolved into the popular 70s R&B vocal trio of The Emotions, Grammy 1977 for Best of My Love which sold a million copies.
